Gavin Argyle
Managing Director

Gavin Argyle has 35 years of management experience in the industrial, mining, technology and healthcare sectors, whilst over this period was investing in both private and public companies on behalf his family and clients/friends. This focused on M&A and capital raisings for more than 50 public companies and 7 private ones mostly in Australia and Canada. In 2019, Gavin founded Peak Iron Mines Pty Ltd and commenced mining operations (currently exporting 2.5mtpa of iron ore from South Australia) and is currently progressing mining approvals for an additional 5mtpa. Prior to co-founding Capital Investment Partners Pty Limited (CIP) in 2007, Gavin founded (what is now) The Market Herald Limited (in 2006) now having 80 direct employees and is the dominate player in its industry sector, in both Australia and Canada. Prior to this, Gavin was Chairman of TCC Holdings Pty Ltd having 500 direct employees (due to its dominant market position in coatings, insulation and rubber lining) having participated in the construction and maintenance of almost every major resource project in Western Australia In 2007, TCC was sold to an international EPC company. In 1999, Gavin founded Global Doctor Limited (GDL) having 300 medical staff providing emergency assistance, evacuations and healthcare. GDL had the largest number of western medical clinics in asia, was accredited by most of the international assistance industries and insurers and the Australian, Canadian and NZ governments for immigration medicals and in 2005, GDL was acquired by a major international assistance company. In the 1990s, Gavin was an Investment Banker with Hartleys Limited and Paterson Securities Limited, having started his investment career with stockbroker, Saw James Limited. Prior to Saw James Limited, Gavin was one of 16 Senior Staff Members at Western Mining Corporation Ltd working at Kambalda and managing 10 mines (open-pit and underground) employing 3,000. He has served on the board of Australian, Canadian and US private and public companies in executive and non-executive positions. Gavin is the responsible manager for Capital Investment Partners’ AFSL, its sole shareholder and Director. His qualifications include finance degrees from the University of Western Australia and the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Alec Pismiris
Director

Alec Pismiris has over 20 years’ experience in the securities, finance and mining industries, having served as a director and company secretary of various ASX listed companies as well as a number of unlisted public and private companies. Mr Pismiris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an associate of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Mr Pismiris has participated numerous times in the processes by which boards have assessed the acquisition and financing of a diverse range of assets and has participated in, and become familiar with, the range of evaluation criteria used and the due diligence processes commonly adopted in the commercial assessment of corporate opportunities.

Mr Pismiris was a director of Papillion Resources Limited from 2006 to 2014 prior to its acquisition by B2Gold Corporation and is currently a director of the ASX-listed companies Agrimin Limited, Aguia Resources Limited, Cardinal Resources Limited, Mount Magnet South NL and Pelican Resources Limited. In addition, Mr Pismiris holds the position of Company Secretary with Agrimin Limited and Pelican Resources Limited.
Rahul Goel
Director

Rahul Goel brings to this role extensive experience in multiple markets as Head of Projects Planning & Corporate Development at General Nice Resources Group as well as with the affiliated Abterra Resources. He is also a Director for the India based companies of GNR and previously sat on the board as Executive Director for the ASX listed Pluton Resources limited (PLV) and Non-Executive director for Irvine Island Finance Corporation Ltd. Prior to his position at General Nice Group Mr Goel served at Adani Group as senior trader for iron ore, steel and scrap business.

Originating in India, Mr Goel was formerly based throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Currently residing and based in Vancouver, Mr Goel's responsibilities include the operations and development relating to trade and investment in the coal, coke, iron ore and steel sectors with a primary sales focus in the Chinese market. Mr. Goel is a commerce graduate who also holds an MBA degree in Marketing with specialization in International Business.
